Our Company Internet Privacy statement.
Your privacy on the Internet is of the utmost importance to us. Because we gather certain types of information about the users of this website, we feel you should fully understand the terms and conditions surrounding the capture and use of that information. This privacy statement discloses what information we gather, how we use it, and how to correct or change it.
Information Devine Holdings gathers and tracks
Devine Holdings gathers two types of information about users.Data that users provide through optional, voluntary registration on our site and in certain contests and sweepstakes.The data Devine Holdings gathers through aggregated tracking information derived mainly by tallying page views throughout our site. Such information enables us to better tailor our content to customers needs and to help us in better promotions and prices for our products.
We will never divulge information about an individual user to a third party. All data that is gathered, is used internally for our own usage only.
Devine Holdings gathers user information in the following processes:
Registration
The Devine Holdings site offer free, voluntary registration to users. By registering, users can enter the site without having to log on each time; they gain access to the administrative area; and they can take advantage of personalization (the ability to select content according to a user-supplied profile).
During registration the user is required to supply an email address and password, and must answer mandatory survey questions Ex: Phone No., Post code, country, and other information.
During registration the user has to supply a first name, last name. In addition, the user can opt to subscribe to Devine Holdings electronic newsletters. We also log the IP address during ordering process for statistical and security purposes
Electronic newsletters
The Devine Holdings site offers a free electronic newsletter to users. Devine Holdings gathers the email addresses of users who voluntarily subscribe. Users may remove themselves from this mailing list by following the link provided in every newsletter that points users to the subscription management page. Users can also subscribe to the newsletters at the time of registration.
Surveys
Occasionally Devine Holdings conducts user surveys to better target our products to our audience. We never share any of this information about specific individuals with any third party.
Contests and sweepstakes
Devine Holdings offers contests and sweepstakes in which we request certain personal information. At a minimum, the required information includes name and email address; in some cases, the user must answer mandatory survey questions about a range of other personal data. The information gathered in the entry form is used to verify the entrants identity, to send the entrant an email notification that their entry has been received, and to contact winners and/or prize recipients.
Because the rules and terms of each contest can vary, all information about each contest is clearly posted during the event. All contests and sweepstakes are conducted in full accordance with NZ laws.
Usage tracking
Devine Holdings tracks user traffic patterns throughout our site. However, we do not correlate this information with data about individual users. Devine Holdings does break down overall usage statistics according to a users domain name, browser type, and MIME type by reading this information from the browser string (information contained in every users browser).
Devine Holdings sometimes tracks and catalogs the search terms that users enter in our search function, but this tracking is never associated with individual users.
Cookies
A cookie is a small data file that certain Web sites write to your hard drive when you visit them. A cookie file can contain information such as a user ID that the site uses to track the pages you have visited. But the only personal information a cookie can contain is information you supply yourself. A cookie cant read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites.
Devine Holdings uses cookies to track user traffic patterns (as described above), when you register as a Devine Holdings member, it uses a cookie to store a unique, random user ID. We do not store passwords or any personal information about you. We use this ID to identify you anonymously in our database and to track the pages you visit on our site. Cookies also enable you to enter Devine Holdings site as a member and to visit member-restricted areas of the sites.
If you have set your browser to warn you before accepting cookies, you will receive the warning message with each cookie.
You can refuse cookies by turning them off in your browser. You do not need to have cookies turned on to use any Devine Holdings site. However, you do need cookies to participate actively in Devine Holdings Purchase, Promotions, Order tracking and technical support.
2. Use of the information
Devine Holdings uses any information voluntarily given by our users to enhance their experience on our website, whether to provide interactive or personalized elements on the sites or to better prepare future content based on the interests of our users.
As stated above, Devine Holdings uses information that users voluntarily provide in order to send out electronic newsletters and to enable users to participate in polls, contests, technical support, and promotions. We send out newsletters to subscribers on a regular schedule (monthly), and occasionally send out special editions when we think subscribers might be particularly interested in something we are doing. Devine Holdings never shares newsletter mailing lists with any third parties, including our partners.
When we use tracking information to determine which areas of our sites users like and dont like based on traffic to those areas. Devine Holdings does not track what individual users read, but rather how well each page performs overall. This helps us continue to build a better service for you.
3. Sharing of the information
Devine Holdings uses the above-described information to tailor our content to suit your needs and direct our promotions ,accordingly. We do not share information about individual users with any third party. (Devine Holdings will divulge information only as necessary to comply with the NZ laws.)
4. Opt-out policy
Devine Holdings gives users options wherever necessary and practical. Such choices include: • Opting not to receive our electronic newsletters when registering for a site • Opting not to provide certain personal information when registering for a site or when participating in some contests (see above) • Opting not to participate in certain interactive areas, which completely alleviates the need to gather any personally identifiable information from our users
5. Correct/update policy
Devine Holdings offers users the ability to correct or change the information collected during registration for any site (see above). The instructions for doing this can be found in our Member Services area. Users may change this information at any time and as often as necessary. 6. Delete/deactivate policy
Users may unsubscribe to any of our electronic newsletters at any time by following the instructions contained at the end of every newsletter. Currently, Devine Holdings does not offer users a means by which to completely delete personal information established at the time of registration.
